- The Future Of Commerce: The future of commerce isn't any longer commerce. Commerce is a means for the purpose. The future of commerce is a solution business which solves much more than just interests in goods and services.

The future of commerce isn’t any longer commerce. Commerce is a means for the purpose. The future of commerce is a solution business which solves much more than just interests in goods and services.

There is a reason behind our interests in goods and services. Just acting on the visible what will not be enough in future. While we show directly or indirectly (through data we share) our interest in a new TV it is not straight forward to directly offer a new one just by some features and functions which are important.

What do we want? We want to watch TV…. great. But do we need a TV for this? Maybe a display or a projector is the better solution in combination with a set-tob box (Apple TV or other) combined which enables us to watch TV through the media library of the TV broadcaster.

The future of commerce is partnership and trusted advisor ship.

Often we think we need x or y because of our knowledge but we don’t see the other options around. There are to many information dropping in every day, to much to handle. If now a new interest / need comes up we often don’t have time and must to dig into it. If we find someone who understands us and to whom we trust, we will enter into a partnership. Such a partner enables us to solve our needs in the right way… quick & simple, personal & relevant, helpful and dense & sophisticated.

So to say, the future of commerce is quick & simple, personal & relevant, helpful and dense & sophisticated solution of needs.

The future is offering the right service around products and services. Price is stepping behind. We need to make an impact, be different. While we have the right products in our e-commerce shop, the best phone consulting, the best retail stores, the best… it can be a small issue to loose someone. Maybe the wrong payment method, no delivery service, the wrong shipment service provider (Amazon is able to deliver in a post pox we can access 24h, others not), no local service, no real understanding of needs, etc.

The all in one package should be flexible and completely. Do we know what completely really means for every customer? Let’s create the right environment, setting, surrounding for our customer. Right at the moment of time when it matters.
