The future of recommendations

We all know product recommendations based on what other user who have seen / bought the actual product have then looking for or bought. Amazon was the key player who used this kind of recommendations first.
There are different SaaS solutions out which helps to deliver this. There are also solutions out which do the same for content instead of products.. Both have a very minimal set of data they use.
As I wrote in different articles, marketing is not just advertising… it’s also PR, content, e-commerce, etc. We need to deliver the right information at the right time for the right person. The mass approach for recommendations is easy, but not the future. The future will be 1:1 predictive product and content recommendations!
